Seamus Mullally
October 12, 2024

The death has occurred of Seamus Mullally, Listerlin, Tullogher, Kilkenny on 12th October 2024.

 

Seamus passed away peacefully under the loving care of staff at University Hospital and Waterford palliative care unit.

 

Deeply loved and will be forever missed by his loving wife Brede, daughters Ann Marie and Joan, Sons Tom, John and David. Also his beloved Son in law Martin and daughter in law Margaret and grandchildren Emma, Grace and James.

 

He will be remembered by his brother Tommy and sisters-in-law Essie and Maureen, and sister Shelia and all his nieces and nephews, extended family, neighbours and many friends. Also brother to the late Maura, Brede, Peggy, Jo, Nano and Ritchie Mullally originally hailing from Davidstown, Glenmore.

 

Seamus’ Funeral took place in St David’s Church, Listerlin on Monday 14th October with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

John Cody
October 10, 2024

The death has occurred of John Cody, Ballyrue, New Ross, Wexford / Kilmacow, Kilkenny on Thursday 10th October 2024.

 

John in the care of Brothers of Charity Residential Services,  died peacefully in the care of The Oak Ward, Waterford University Hospital.

 

Predeceased by his parents Matt and Nora and his brother Luke.

 

John will be greatly missed by his brothers Tommy and Ger, sister Ann, sisters-in-law Mary and Eileen, his nephew’s Matthew, Peadar, Bryan, Tadhg and Liam.

 

John is also sadly missed by his second family, the dedicated care staff and service users of The Brothers of Charity Residential Care Services who looked after him in Belmont, Claremount and in Tus Nua, Lower Dangan, Kilmacow.

 

John’s Funeral took place in the Church of the Assumption, Rosbercon on Sunday, 13th October, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Rosemary Freaney (née Wingate)
October 2, 2024

The death has occurred of Rosemary Freaney (née Wingate) Rectory Lodge, Rosbercon, New Ross, Wexford on 02nd October 2024.

 

Rosemary, aged 78 years, died peacefully  surrounded by her loving family in the excellent care of The Oak Ward South East Palliative Care Team.

 

Predeceased by her beloved son John Patrick Daniel and partner Gerry.

 

Beloved sister of Raymond.

 

Loving mother of Evelyn, Steven, Trudie, Susanne, and Fionn.

 

Sadly missed by her sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, neighbours and friends.

 

Rose’s Funeral Mass took place on Friday, 4th October, in the Church of Assumption, Rosbercon.

A private Cremation Service took place on Saturday, 5th October in Mount Jerome Crematorium Dublin.
