The death has occurred of Mary Phelan (née Doolan), Tullogher, Kilkenny on Wednesday 20th May 2026.

Mary passed away peacefully at home in the loving care of her family. (6 days from her 101st Birthday)

Predeceased by her husband James, parents William & Mary, brothers Mikie & Tommy, sisters Biddie & Peggy (Gaffney), son-in-law Nickey Murphy.

Sadly missed by her daughters, Noreen, Maureen Bridget & Etty, son Jim, sister Statia (O’Neill) son-in-law Thomas, daughter-in-law Paula, grandchildren Shane, Michael, Laura, Derek, William, Áine & Kaela, great-grandchildren Hendrix, Katie & Sophie, nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends.

Mary’s Funeral Mass took place in St Aidan’s Church Tullogher on Friday 22nd May with burial afterwards in Listerlin (Mullinarrigle) Cemetery.
